Relationship Manager

About the Role

The Relationship Manager will serve as a strategic partner to our 401(k) plan recordkeeper clients, ensuring they fully leverage iJoin’s technology solutions to achieve their goals and drive success. This role involves developing detailed account profiles, identifying new revenue opportunities, and working closely with both internal teams and external partners to maximize client engagement, support and product utilization.

Responsibilities Include

  • Client Success & Product Utilization: Help clients fully leverage iJoin’s product capabilities to maximize value and better serve their customers.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive client profiles to understand key business drivers and optimize iJoin utilization.
  • Revenue Generation: Identify and drive incremental revenue opportunities through additional product adoption at the enterprise level.
  • CRM & Reporting: Work with CRM administrator to maintain accurate, up-to-date records on revenue opportunities and provide weekly sales updates to senior management.
  • Collaborative Presentations: Partner with clients’ national sales teams to support product presentations and webinars aimed at the advisor community, enhancing reach and visibility.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with integrated strategic partners to introduce their platforms to recordkeepers and help promote their products and services to advisor clients.
  • Marketing & Customer Support: Act as a liaison for customer marketing needs, collaborating with internal and external marketing teams while also providing client support for inquiries from recordkeeping clients.

Skills and Attributes Needed

  • 5 years of experience in the fintech and/or retirement plan industry required; 10+ years preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship or account management, preferably within financial services, technology, or related industries.
  • General knowledge of CRM systems and a strong understanding of sales reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to identify revenue opportunities and drive product adoption.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
