About the Role
The primary objective of this leadership role is to accelerate growth within iJoin’s advisory and marketplace partnerships channel. As the business scales, this executive will have the opportunity to build and expand the division, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Responsibilities Include
- Working closely with fee-based Retirement Plan Advisors (RPAs) and home office leadership at Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Broker Dealers (BD) and/or wire house firms
- Expanding channel engagement by educating advisors on how to utilize iJoin technology and marketplace solutions within their retirement practices
- Working closely with key distribution team members at marketplace partners such as Franklin Templeton, PIMCO, PGIM, BlackRock, Allianz Life and TIAA/Nuveen as advocates for advisor adoption of personalized TDF, managed account and guaranteed income solutions
- Managing and reporting on pipeline opportunities, wins, and losses, incorporating client feedback to keep the leadership team informed
- Developing and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) to support business development and partnership initiatives
- Connecting advisors with progressive retirement recordkeepers based on product sets (e.g. personalized target date funds (TDF), in-plan guaranteed income, managed accounts), geographic footprint, pricing, and additional value adds
- Collaborating with our VP of Marketing to align messaging and thought leadership efforts across the broader advisory and retirement community
- Working in tandem with our Sales and Marketing Administrator on product demos, presentations and more
- Willing to attend national and regional conferences and meetings
- Traveling approximately 25% of the time

Experience and Education Needed
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 10-15+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of the retirement plan space
- Ability to promote managed accounts, guaranteed income, and rollover solutions
- Deep understanding of the advisory landscape with established connections
- AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) or other relevant investment designations are desirable
Compensation
- $150,000 – $175,000 annual salary
- Bonus opportunity
